I help professionals relocating to Germany, Switzerland or Austria to get confident and conversational in High Standard German so they can experience these beautiful countries at their best.
I'm a German Native Speaker, Certified German Teacher and also passionate language learner myself. Living abroad - I am currently based in Hongkong - I KNOW the challenges one can face due to language barriers.
By now I speak three foreign languages fluently myself (English, Cantonese, Mandarin) and I’m working on a fourth one (French!) on an advanced level. I truly believe that with languages you are at home anywhere.
Hence, I am very passionate about teaching my mother tongue not only from a teacher's, but also from a language learner's perspective, so that YOU can feel fully integrated in your new home!
Understanding that communication is the main rationale behind learning a language, I implement conversation throughout my program, encouraging my students as they develop their conversational skills. This fosters an environment in which there is no hesitation or inhibition to practice speaking.
When not immersed in teaching German, you might find me sipping on a cup of my favorite coffee, working out at my neighborhood gym, hiking a beautiful trail, learning yet another new language, or off on an adventure to a new and exciting destination.
